Another health update
I really want to stay on top of writing about my health and how things are going and what the test results show. If you haven't read this post then I suggest you read it before you read this one.
So I went to see my doctor today to get the results from the echocardiogram and Holter Monitor and going in I was prepared to get told that I had heart issues and that I would need to get to referred to a cardiologist for the next steps (despite heart issues not running in my family). Unfortunately that wasn't the case and my echocardiogram shows me having a strong heart and the Holter Monitor while it did show a bit of an irregular heart beat at times it wasn't happening when the dizzy spells were and it's not something to worry about. While it's great that my heart is good, it doesn't give any answers as to why I am feeling dizzy and fatigued.
My doctor and I went back to the beginning today and looked at when it all started to happen, what the blood results were and when the dizziness happens. The big issue is that the dizziness happens randomly there is no set time when it happens which means it's harder to diagnose the source and treat it. My doctor assured me he will get to the bottom of this and he believes there is something wrong with me he just has no idea what. So he me referred to a physio that specialises in vertigo (and concussions) and is apparently amazing.
As soon as left my doctors I rang up the physio and was able to grab a cancellation appointment for next Wednesday which is great (I'm guessing it would've been at least a months wait otherwise) and then booked a follow up doctors appointment for the Wednesday after that to review the physio appointment and the physio's thoughts. The appointment is looking very intense and I'm not allowed to eat two hours before it or drink one hour before it, it's also highly recommended that someone drives me home after it so I am praying that I finally get some answers.
I feel like I see my doctor every other week at the moment and I just want answers. I am over feeling dizzy and not having energy, I am over having to prioritise even the most basic tasks that should be no big deal to complete, I am over worrying about what the results of tests could be and I am over worrying about how I will pay for all these tests and appointments (I am so thankful I have decent savings but I hate seeing it reduce).
I am hoping that the next health update will be better and I will have some answers as to why I am feeling the way that I am.
