Five Friday Favourites (on Thursday)

I'm doing this on Thursday because tomorrow is Good Friday and it just seems strange to post tomorrow. I can't believe it is Easter this weekend, I have church tomorrow and Sunday and we have people coming over to lunch both days which will be nice. It's a far cry from what last year was like - having to attend church by live stream and not being able to see anyone.

As today was April Fools day I couldn't resist doing a prank, which involved me buying a pack of stick on googly eyes and sticking them in as a many places as possible. I personally find it makes the spice jars less intimidating but that's just me...

These past two weeks have been busy and I have only had one day where I haven't had anything planned during the week. Don't get me wrong I like being busy but at the same time I get to the afternoons and I crash and then my sleep isn't great (the sleeping tablets worked for the first 3 nights but stopped working on the 4th) so I never feel fully refreshed.

I'm at the point in my life where I have accepted that I will always be dizzy and it's been 18 months of dizziness and it's showing no signs of improving or going anywhere. My doctor has a specialist in mind that he wants me to see but there's some hiccups with seeing him, so I'm praying that it will all work out. Of course as my doctor keeps reminding me that seeing another specialist won't likely bring answers, it's just that we have to keep trying until we get them.

Onto Friday Favourites...

Lego Winnie the Pooh - growing up I loved Winnie the Pooh, I was never into Disney Princesses but I

loved the world of Winnie the Pooh. My favourite character is Piglet and I think when I was younger I always gravitated towards him may because of his anxious personality which never got in the way of him going on adventures with his friends. So I knew I had to buy this set the moment it came out for pre-release  and I spent all day Sunday building it. It was no easy challenge but it was well worth it. The set is beautiful and all the details are amazing. If you are a fan of Winnie the Pooh I highly recommend you buy this set you won't regret it.

Finding You (movie trailer) - while this film as a different title it is based on one of my favourite books There You'll Find Me by Jenny B Jones. It's set in Ireland and it looks like a great adaption, I'm so excited to meet Finley and Beckett Rush and see these characters come to life on the big screen.

Planet Shoes Ryde Black Boot - I really like the quality of Planet Shoes boots and they are also supportive as well (plus they fit in my orthotics with no issues). So when I decided to buy a pair of boots for when the weather gets cooler it was a no brainer to stick with Planet Shoes. I really liked the style of these ones, the printed leather is a nice touch and they are really comfy.

Nude by Nature Moisture Shine Lipstick new shimmer shades - I treated myself to not one by three of these lipsticks a few weeks ago and I have been wearing them almost daily. I really like how they add a subtle shimmer and are also really moisturising, the staying power is great as well especially as they are natural which is always a bonus.

Australian Cast Alexander Hamilton - less than 100 days until I see Hamilton! So when this video got released last week I was so excited. The Australian cast looks so talented so no doubt it will be an amazing show to see.
