Five Friday Favourites

Another week is over which means another week closer to Hamilton and also the neurologist appointment. These past two weeks have been rather busy but next week I have nothing planned which I am looking forward to. I am definitely struggling energy wise at the moment and as much as I enjoy having things planned I also like my down time.

I hit 20 months of dizziness four days ago and honestly its hard to remember a time I wasn't dizzy. I'm praying that the neurologist appointing at the end of July is promising but as my doctor said we will get to the bottom of it we just have to keep researching and contacting specialists until we find someone who has any idea of what it could be. I've also been experiencing more frequent nausea and headaches on top of the dizziness which isn't the greatest and I am finding I am craving anything salty and sweet (like chocolate coated pretzels) which is strange.

I had to do a prerecorded video on Monday for the job I really want, which was anxiety inducing and made me second guess myself a lot. I had unlimited goes to record myself answering the questions in a 1.5 minute span and I kept obsessing over whether I said the right thing or not. But I did my best and I am praying it leads to an in person interview.

Tonight I am putting myself out of my comfort zone by volunteering at Youth Group which is crazy but they need leaders and I said I would give it a go. It's actually a sleep over but thankfully I am under no obligation to stay the night which is good thing as my sleep is bad enough as it is. I am bringing baked goods and board games. If it goes smoothly then I am hoping to volunteer every other Friday night depending on my dizziness, so we will see.

Onto Friday Favourites...

Finding You - I saw this on the 16th of May and I loved it. I love the book the film was based on and while the movie did have it's differences (I would say its 60%-70% the same as the book which is honestly what you expect) it was still a great film. They got the perfect actors for the roles and I honestly can't imagine anyone else playing them. I loved how it showcased Ireland and for me it felt like a mini escape to another country.

Tonic Jewellery Cube - I got one of these for my mum for Mother's Day and she loved it. I also got one for myself so I could store the jewellery I tend to wear most frequently. Despite the small size it can fit a lot in it and it's perfect for travel.

Dear Evan Hansen (movie trailer) - I'm on a bit of a musical kick at the moment and this movie looks good, plus it talks about mental health which is good. I've really liked Ben Platt since I saw him in Pitch Perfect and while I know it's crazy that a 27 year old is playing a 17 year old (the jokes on this Buzzfeed post are hilarious) he is talented and it kinda works I think?

Metallic Gel Pens - I have a slight addiction to stationery so I couldn't go past these gel pens. They write super smoothly and I love the colours. They just make me happy whenever I use them and they are making writing lists fun and colourful which I need at the moment.

Nude by Nature Creamy Matte Lipstick - I find myself reaching for these lipsticks day after day, so much so that I just bought another two. They are moisturising, have great staying power and the colours aren't in your face so they're perfect for wearing day after day. I have the colours Riberry, Coral Pink, Rose Quartz and Pink Dahlia and they compliment my skin tone nicely.
