Didn't know what to post

I am sorry for not posting for a while but I honestly didn't know what to post, I felt I should do a post on graduating but at same time I felt that I had done alot of posts on leaving school and didn't want to add to it (as I would just be repeating myself). Life has been hectic lately and will hopefully slow down soon (then speed up due to Christmas), so I will beable to post more frequently and will get more inspiration for posts. But for now I am exhausted and ready for bed (I have been on my feet most of the day and my legs are aching).

Is it to early for a Christmas post?

I can honestly say I love Christmas, I mean its my favourite time of year. But as much as I love the actual day, I love the days leading up to it, I love going into the shopping centres and seeing everything decked out and seeing all the christmas things for sale (there are certain shops that I will avoid all year round but will go into in December just to see the displays) and displays. I love Christmas shopping choosing the perfect gift for someone special (I always start early and am almost finished I only have to buy one more thing and I am done) and wrapping it and placing it under the tree. I love how the persons face lights up once they have unwrapped the gift. I mean Christmas day combines two of my favourite things: Giving and Receiving, I actually think I enjoy giving presents rather than recieving them which is why I always buy things for people just because. I love seeing the house decked out in all the decorations and how it has a different smell and feel to it! Mum and I can never make Christmas small, we always plan everything down to the food. I love listening to Christmas music and can't wait to get out Glee's Christmas album and buy the next one (I mean my favourite show and time of year?!), I swear its all I listen to for 6 weeks leading up to Christmas. I love receiving cards in the mail and putting them up everywhere. But most of all I love celebrating the fact that Jesus was born and that he would eventually save us. Yesterday when I was in the shops I saw a Christmas card that said "Keep Calm Jesus Is Coming" I mean the message is so true, and the fact is that is what we celebrate each year at Christmas that Jesus did come to save us from our sins and he will return again. I honestly want to frame that card, because the message rings true not just at Christmas but for the whole year.

Introducing Barcode's Drawings!

I have this friend, she's pretty awesome and artistic like really artistic, if I recall she started drawing in year 6 and never looked back :). So every week (hopefully) she is going to send me a picture to post, sometimes I will write a poem or something but this post is just about introducing her! Her artist name is Barcode (not her real name of course). This is one of her favourite pictures to date and its really good and detailed! I am hoping some day she will sell them and I can say I knew her when she first started!

Just Because

I am currently in the works of trying to do a weekly art/writing post with my friend who is so talented with art, so hopefully that will happen next week in the mean time I have stolen this post idea from Katie (over at Loves Of Life)

Guilty Pleasure?
I would have to say watching kids shows and movies aimed at kids. I mean they always seem to make me laugh, and more times than not my sisters watch them with me.

Recent Splurg?
Nothing for myself! Christmas presents I have almost finished buying them for everyone I just need to pick up one more item and I am done. Though I am hoping to get a new phone in the next day or two (its been playing up and the battery isn' holding charge as well as it used to). Though it will be on a post paid plan meaning I pay $29 a month for two years and get credit and what not.

In Bulk I Buy?
Nothing, though I do like to stock up on M&Ms when they are on sale so maybe that.

My Go-To Flower?
Geraldton Wax, I love it and when ever it starts blooming I always pick a big bunch of it and put it on the kitchen table. Its my Mum's favourite to :)

Comfort Food?
Chocolate, it makes me happy :)

For Breakfast?
What evers in the fridge, but I do love waffles and scrambled eggs on toast.

For Dinner?
I'm not fussy so what ever Mum is cooking, which varies though I do love steak and salad in summer. I'm not a big fan of cooked vegies so when we have salad I eat alot of it.

Love/Hate Relationship With?
Work, I love the money just sometimes I really don't want to do it.

Can't Stop Watching?
Glee, Degrassi: The Next Generation, Modern Family and Terra Nova.

10 things that have made me smile this past week :)

So its Spring at the moment only right now it look likes a cold winters day (only I am wearing a T-shirt and sandals with jeans because I can't be bothered changing) because it is bucketing down! I mean isn't Spring the month when you break out all your cute summer dresses, tops and skirts and what not :) and buy a pair of bathers (which you really needed last summer but couldn't affoard till now. Trust me being big busted is a curse bathers start at $100 and can cost up to $300 for one pair! Mine only cost $180 which isn't to bad) and (try to) get in shape for summer? But yet its raining (heaps!), don't me wrong I love rain, I just want to break out my summer gear and go swimming, not be stuck in the house with nothing to do. So to try and lift up my moods I am going to list 10 things that have happened this past week that have made me smile:
  1. My English exam is over! I know I bombed out at the reading section, but hey I think I passed it.
  2. Got a job a proper paying job that counts as a job (not a paper round). Its at my local Subway store and the boss is really nice and pretty much hired me on the spot. So now I can pay for tafe.
  3. I have done half my Christmas shopping (yes its early but I like to be organised). Note taken that I have to buy for 4 people (my parents and two sisters), but still its halfway done!
  4. Did I meantion my exam is over! So that means I will never have to wear my summer uniform dress again.
  5. I broke out my summer dresses and skirts if only for a few days.
  6. Glee came back on (Damien from The Glee Project was so good :D).
  7. Glee is realeasing a 2nd Christmas album I loved the first one (so did my mum and sisters) so I can't wait for the 2nd one (due out later this month).
  8. Chickpea has been allowed outside and has been enjoying attempting to catch various things that fly (including moths and flys).
  9. Christmas is coming!
  10. All the Christmas displays in the shops are very shiny and pretty :)
